Our Growers
The majority of our 600-odd growers are farming families who either own and work their own properties or share-farm for other land holders. They can produce up to 2.4 million tonnes of sugar cane each year from 34,000 hectares of land.
Cane farming in the Northern Rivers offers country living with close proximity to the coast, beautiful natural surroundings and amenable climate; and its six-month ‘on’, six-month ‘off’ season also provides a unique lifestyle.
