Sunshine Sugar Agricultural Services is a team of six staff who conduct extension and advisory programs and an active program of pest and disease management aimed at maximising the area and amount of cane in NSW. The team is focused on areas such as extension, disease control, weeds, varieties, controlled traffic farming systems, crop nutrition, drainage and harvest best practice.

The Agricultural Advisory Committee provides oversight of the group and is made up of growing and milling representatives.
