The editor is invoked when you create a new article. You may also invoke the editor by clicking on the
button which you will find next to the Titles of articles you are authorised to edit.
Once the editor is invoked you will see the document presented as a form with the fields as Title, Category, Intro Text and Main Text. Below these is a tabbed pane with the titles Images, Publishing and Metadata. At the top of the page are two buttons that allow you save
or cancel
the edit.
At the top of the Intro and Main text boxes are word style tool bars. These provide most of the functionality for editing the article. There are tools for inserting and formatting text, images, links and more. At the top left of the toolbar is a help button use this to open a pop-up window explaining all the toolbar buttons.
Images may also be inserted using the image manager panel below the Main text editor box.

To use the image tab you use the
button to put a -mosimage- tag (the - are actually curly brackets {}) in your document. Then you select a picture in the Gallery Images box and click insert. that image is now in the list of content images.
The Content Images appear in order from top to bottom (ie the top image in the list is displayed at the first mosimage tag in the document). You may change their order by selecting an image and clicking on the up and down buttons.
The main disadvantages of this method is that you cant see the image while you are editing the document and that you are limited to images that are already loaded into the media manager.
The advantages are that you can easily and quickly insert stock or standard images and easily edit the page without having to wait for images to load or move.
